fuel running out of secondaries - Nikki

Why would fuel run out of my secondary fuel nozzles while it's running if my float bowl levels are right where they should be?

I appreciate any help given, this is another issue that has come up on my nikki that has me stumped.

trash in the needle and seat not allowing the fuel to be shut off when the bowl gets full.

I thought of that. Needle and seats are fine.

well the bowl is over filling. if the level is set right and the needle and seats r fine, the only other thing i can think of is the float is allowing fuel into it making it too heavy to float and seal off the incoming fuel.

I got it figured it out, ended up pulling off the vent selonoid and plugged the whole with epoxy. It wasn't venting the fuel bowls.

Yeah, it was quite an odd find. I've tried to leave everything on the nikki that was original, knowing that everyThing has a purpose but after the vent selonoid being bad I pretty much took everything off I could imaginable amd filled every hole with epoxy. I'd say now my nikki is about as naked as it could be except I'm still running vacuum secondaries so I still have the secondary accelerator pump on and working..

glad u got it figured out. my experience with the problem u were having only involved solutions i suggested. and there's no secondary AP on a nikki carb. at least non of the ones i've ever dealt with.

It's not really a AP, it's just a diaphram that pulls the secondaries open. I just call it an AP because it's very similar.
