Talking Fuel Regulator Question

I have a 13B with a MiKuni carb. It has a cheap dial I am using for a regulator. Does anyone know where I can get the regulator I need. Also, I'm finding that I am the only one using a MuKuni carb on my 84 gsl-se. Are they O.K. or should I consider anything else. I am intrested in a cold air intake set up but don't think it is possible with the two horn air ducts on the MuKuni. Any suggestions?

mikuni is a great carb setup, used before on my 12a, getting ready to stick it on my se 13b.
You can still get parts for them in Ca at a place called rebello racing. The dial regulators you
are refering to are available at most napa's, auto zone, etc. rx7doctor

They're ok, but they will restrict fuel flow at hi RPM's and power which that carb needs. A better choice is the Holley FPR. www.summitracing.com carries them, less than $25. HTH

you need a return style regulator if you are using the factory gslse fuel pump to get the fuel pressure low enough

use the mallory #4309 regulator

if you are using a low pressure aftermarket fuel pump, then use the link carl has provided
