Fuel pump probs-no power...Help!

After checking out the fuel pump I discovered it was not getting any power, what is the best thing to do in this situation? Its fuel injected and and 85 model 1.3L. Not sure if I should just run a new wire or try to locate the problem.

How are you checking for power? The 84/85 models have a fuel pump relay and will only power the fuel pump when the car is cranking or running.. For a GSL-SE, turn the key to 'ON' (don't start) and have someone push open the door on the AFM (Air Flow Meter) located under the air filter. With this door open, the fuel pump should have power. Use a voltmeter or a test light to test for power at the pump. If no power, it could be a blown fuse or a bad fuel pump relay.

Where is the fuel pump relay located? also I just purchased the car so I am not familiar with the vehicle. The tire pressure is 20psi on the front and 10psi on the back, The car has been lowered and I noticied the tire pressure is 20psi on the front and 10psi on the rear, is this correct! always thought it was suppose to be 35psi? I am really eager to learn all I can about the car and I am very grateful for everyones input. Thanks.

Your tires are flat.. lol Around 28psi or so is where they should be at. Check out here for manuals..

You will want to download the Factory Service Manual (FSM) and the wiring diagrams.

Did you check for power how I said? Anyway, the fuel pump relay is under a panel under the passenger side carpet (under where your feet would rest).
