fuel pump is dying..

i think my fuel pump is on its way out..
the car seems to be running out of fuel earlier in the revs..

will ocnnecting the pump straight to 12v with a relay make a notice able difference? how many volts are the pumps getting at the moment..

i was thinking of getting the top bosch pump.
i work at bosch so i can get it cheep
but i aint running a greatly modified enigne so i will try tweaking mine up a lil first
