fuel pump.

I'm thinking of replacing my fuel pump on my SE. I know the stock pumps are excellent, but I'm wondering if anyone knows any aftermarket pumps that are of better quality/performance than stock. I heard of some SE owners going with walbro or something like that.

Thanks,

Mike

I got the AIRTEX Part # E8000 $100 from rockautoparts.com. Fits like stock. Works great. Be careful to refit all the crush washers in their appropriate places and tighten the fittings firmly to avoid leaks.

if you are not modifying the car in any signifigant way then there is really no need to replace the pump. the SE's pump is an excellent pump.

If your pump is with in specs then it is a waste of time and money to replace it. The walbro and other pumps do not put out as much as the SE one does.
