Shouldnt have to touch them.Im running 300hp out of the stock FB fuel feed line.I did replace the small return hardline with another FB feed hardline. My car was carbed,so the return line was quite small. The 2 FB feed lines are the same diameter as stock FC/TII fuel feed/return lines, they'll support quite a bit of fuel flow/HP.

It is a good idea to replace the 20 year old rubber fuel lines, however. As well as the old clamps,if they look corroded.

A word of caution on selection of Fuel hoses; MAKE SURE you get Fuel "Injection" hoses, lest you have a problem with the rubber hoses breaking down and causing an engine fire!

The standard carb fuel hoses will not rupture immediately under the 45-55psi of EFI pump pressure, but within a few weeks, the expansion of the rubber material will cause stress cracks to form on the entire length and you'll be spraying fuel in short order. Be sure to replace EFI lines with proper Fuel Injection tubing, and they will last many years of hard use. Using whatever tubing you have available is a recipe for disaster.

The reason why I mention this is that the 13b RE-EGI engine that I purchased from a member here had standard tubing used for the return line, and on disassembly of the UIM, I found that the dried out, cracked remnant of hose would have quickly broken on full pressure causing a large volume of raw gas to be spraying around under that intake manifold. HTH,

I put a holley 600 and took out the Fuel Injection. So my stock lines should work good right. Just making sure B/C i'am losing fuel up top. Right now i got the holley red fuel pump but going to put the holley blue fuel pump soon.
