I was wondering if anyone has ever removed the first 18" or so section of fuel line that is connected right where the hose comes out of the gas tank. It wraps up over the axel and into the fuel filter. I was thinking of taking it out and just adding a section of hose to come down and into the fuel filter. This way i can get my new holley red fuel pump up tighter against the wheel well and it seems like it would be a better fit. Not sure it this would cause any problems with vibration or anything?
