fuel inj. clips.

I was looking at the pics for the fuel injector pigtail/connector and it doesn't show the metal clip that locks it into place. Do I have to re-use the old clips?

The metal clips are part of the actual connector.

BTW slightly off topic, but where would one find replacements for those Fuel Injector Connectors?
It seems like all FI's have the same connector so I would assume its easy to find?

Im guessing this is for an SE and if so the Part # for the injector plug with wires is 2-17427 Thru Napa. Brand is Echlin.

They are only like 5$ each and Im sure your old ones are cooked so replace em if you get access to them. One tip I got from Rx-7doctor is not to solder your new clip pigtails on but to use butt connectors and shrink wrap em.

It does not come with the replacement connector from Napa.

Thanks doc. My connectors seem to be fine. I was just going to replace them cuz I have my intake off. They are not brittle at all and snapped on really good. I think I'll just leave them alone.

Any particular reason for this? I was always taught to do a proper solder joint and then use shrink wrap to protect it as it provides the stronger and lower resistance connection.
