Does anyone know how to repair the various dings and tears in the polyurethane front valance? Black Dragon wants $500 for a new onw which I can't afford.

hmmm....dont know I havent worked on mine yet. Which I dont have tears...just a few dings & scratches. Im guessing you could probably use fiberglass or bondo...dont know which would work better though...my dad is a body man at nissan...so he knows more than me...I will ask him tonight.

fiberglass will hold up better if the tears are bad you might need to give it some structure from the back side some thin sheet metal and some rivets would work just fine.

bondo's rubber bumper repair, easy to use and sells for around $5.

Use it like auto body filler. Fill, sand, paint. Use plastic spray paint.

Advance Auto Parts carries it.

And if that doesn't work you can always try to source a decent one off the forum instead of new through BlackDragon.

Mine ate a groundhog at 120km/h on the highway coming back from Toronto.. tore the thing half off and bent my passenger side fender in. The valance dragged on the pavement for a good hundred metres before I got stopped on the side of the road, chewed up the end of it real bad. So I got a donor one and it'll be put on as part of the paint job / resto process.
