Those look the same as the TII calipers I installed during my brake upgrade.

cool. one thing ive found problems with the kit is that the caliper rubs against my rb sway bar. i was thinking if i could mount the calipers on the back side rather than the front side. another issue i had was that the rotors rubbed the control arms. has anyone else had this issue?

^^ to counter act the caliper hitting he sway bar you have a few options. all of which involve switching the caliper to trailing rather than leading.

1) get respeed turn in spacers
2) get a set of the new mark II brackets
3) get a respeed R&P set up

I'm still running the oem drum ppv that came on the car. I have the an SE master and ppv that I may install. Still sorting out some pressure issues due to switching brake fluid types. May not have the old DOT5 completely bleed out.

I mounted the calipers forward and have no rubbing issues, but I'm also running an ST sway bar with a very short sway bar link.

One problem I did run into was with the SSRs. When I mounted them, they bound on the bump on the brake caliper just below the Mazda logo. On the 1st pair of calipers, I ground the bump down flush. While bleeding the brakes, I heard a loud pop, I had blown a hole in the side of the calipers. That bump is a passageway between the 2 pistons. DO NOT grind it! I ended up running spacers to clear the calipers.

Just a thought, maybe the ReSpeed sway bars will fit without problem.

Yep, short end links will work.

The MarkII brackets will mount the calipers to the trailing side. They are not out yet though. We will list them in the catalog when they are.

Mark I brackets will work trailing with bump steer spacers

pretty nice setup! you'll have to let us know how the car stops or if you run into any trouble during the completion of this project!
