Front struts for FB

Needing to replace front struts on my 85 RX7. Wondering if anyone has source for any Tokico Blues, Koni, or Bilstein that would be a direct replacement fit. Run RB springs and they do not like KYB, have worn them out in one season of autox. Really do not want to go to coil overs or FC sub swap.

Tokico Hp # HE2317 TH Motorsports,in stock,on sale for month of October for $57.53 & free shipping. KYB are crap,ok for stock springs cruising to get ice cream. Tokico Blue HP & Rb springs complement each other. Struts your car came with from factory were made by Tokico. Blues are well suited for street/autocross use and logical step up from oe. Personally have used Koni shocks on muscle cars and they're a serious upgrade over parts store shocks. Koni struts/shocks are good but Tokico HP are valved specifically for RX7 and you will not regret installing them. Sale price is right too, cheaper than what i paid for my last set couple years ago.

Is that for front struts? I like the shocks I have in rear.

Sorry, went back and checked, gave you part # for rear shock by mistake. # for HP strut insert is HZ 1069. Sale price is $86.82 during October+free shipping. Still a good deal, list is $128 and change. Again cheaper by about $20 than what i bought mine for couple years ago from same place.

I love my Tokico Blues, I have had them in two cars and they were amazing on a stock-ish suspension setup. They're hard to source though, that's for sure. I got lucky and found a set with 2,000mi on them and still look brand new.

Contacted them today. None in stock. Only place that has any non-KYB was RB, they had some old NOS Koni. But Race Consulting Agency (Max) was able to source some Yellow Koni (not NOS) for MR2 that are direct bolt in for fronts on FB. Order them and they should be here by Wednesday. Several places informed me that Tokico is now NLA for FB RX7.

So I guess I'm gonna be all Koni now; MR2 Yellow's up front, Mustang (foxbody) Orange's in the rear. With RB springs.
