front axle questions....

i have found a way to change the lug pattern on my back axle... but what about the front i want to be able to bolt a set of third gen rims on my first gen. I found replacement splines from respeed for the rear but nothing for the front. i have searched and searched and still not found anything that would help me any help is greatly appreciated thanx in advance...

This is what you need to convert to 5 lug up front. Although the 3rd gen wheels have the wrong offset and you would need a 1.5" or 2" spacer.

There are many reasons to upgrade other than the wheels so maybe you could find better suited wheels.

Running wheels with the incorrect offset by that much changes the scrub radius quite a bit. Scrub radius is a important part of the way the car "feels". Also the axles may not give you the proper offset numbers to run the 3rd gen wheels.

You could also swap to GSL-SE suspension (both front/rear) or do some combination of SE suspension and parts from Billy (re-speed). The GSL-SE has a more common bolt pattern than the 12A cars (114.3x4 vs. 110mmx4).
