Exclamation Free Premix Stickers/Reminders! Get Yours!

Hey all,

Just finished fixing my Rex to run premix today, and got a little creative after. I thought of a good idea for those of you that have already switched to premix, or mix your gas as well as use the OMP.

I made up a small picture file that you can't print out and attach to your gauge cluster right by the fuel gauge. Helps you remember how much to mix whether you are doing just a few gallons or a full fillup.

I printed mine out and covered it neatly with a piece of mailing tape. Looks like a sticker but it really isn't, and reminds me how much MMO (or whatever you use) to add in the gas.

I compiled the info from information that I found here when searching. Please keep in mind that the full fill up mixture is for a 16 gallon tank from '81-'85?? I know some had different tank sizes, but not sure which.

The information on the picture is based on the 150:1 mixture which has been generally accepted as the best way to go. I'd post a picture of my car but I don't have a digital camera available, so I photoshopped one of some gauge pictures I found. Here it is just so you can see what it looks like.

I have attached the picture for those of you that would like to attach one to your gauge cluster as well. Just print it out and tape it on with whatever you want. I just prefer a good piece of mailing tape. Enjoy, and let me know what you guys think!

I put the actual sticker in as a link 'cause it's pretty big. Feel free to print it out!

actually man, you multiply by the ratio.

If what you were saying was true then if my ratio was 1:100 I'd have:

128 x 16(gallons of gas) / .01 = 204800 OZ!!!

Ya might wanna fix that sticker.

Okay, yeah, sorry. Didn't notice that. Dividing would mean you multiply by the reciprocal of the ratio or .01. Just divide by the ratio's larger number, not the reciprocal of the ratio. i.e. (128 X 16 gallons)/100 = 20.48 Which is probably a little rich? I read that the greatest mixture the OMP ever will give you is 150:1. I guess if you're autoXing or some other form of racing you might want the extra protection of a very rich fuel...
