Arrow Free Dyno for one lucky RX-7 owner in Redmond, WA Friday the 30th!

We are looking for an 84-91 Non-Turbo RX-7 (13B) with header and/or tuned exhaust (other mods ok, too) to record during a dyno session this coming Fri at Dyno Authority here in Redmond. There is no cost to you. The sound recording will be used in a video game being developed by a local game developer. The car will spend about 12 seconds at 500 RPM below redline under a FULL LOAD, so it is important that the car is in very good mechanical condition. A dyno run (giving max HP and Ft/Lbs) will be included.

For further information please contact Mark Price at (425) 706-4464, and/or email a-mprice@microsoft.com.

Just curious if you, or the developers are going to include the 'backfiring' and pops that emit from the rotary like when the gas is let off at various rpms.

and the 79 has header and full racing beat exhaust. Sounds awesome on a dyno.

Please contact Mark Price at (425) 706-4464, and/or email a-mprice@microsoft.com for answers to your questions. He is just looking for a cool non-stock rotary sound. You will have to ask him about superchargers, and turbos. I'm not sure about pops, and backfiring. Mark would know though. YOur best bet is to email him, because he is not on this forum. Thanks!

What about a 93 with ported motor, turbos, and full exhaust? It really sounds nice.

Too bad my built NA GTU is blown. That exhaust was ear bleeding loud.

Sorry, Mark specifically told me no Turbos or superchargers. They not only record the exhaust sounds, but the intake sounds as well.
