Thumbs up Found me some MMO!!

For those who didn't know they stopped selling MMO in Canada, but there are rummors of it being brought back. I've looked all over for this stuff, basically because of the reviews people have given it on this site. So I was waiting for someone to look up a part at a local parts dealer, and I was wandering around and came across two red, dusty jugs of Marvel mystery oil. They didn't even have a listing for it in the computer, but charged me 19.95 anyways, I am gonna go back and grab the other jug ASAP.

What are some of the amounts people use in their engines, and gas tanks, how much do I add? Is decarbonizing safe with this stuff? Later.

Congrats on your find! MMO is great rotary medicine IMO. If you are looking to really get the carbon out of the engine take your spark plugs out and shoot some MMO right in the plug holes. Crank the engine over by hand to coat the apex seals. Let it sit for a couple of days cranking it over by hand every once in a while. After a couple of days start her up and stand back (she'll smoke like a mother)

Also, if you have removed your oil metering pump and are wanting to run premixed gas, many people mix 1 oz. of MMO per gallon of fuel. This helps to lubricate and keep the fuel system clean. Good luck!

I drop a quart of MMO in with my oil changes. A buddy of mine did this with this Integra and now he swears by it! His valve train is super quiet now.
