Does the tac actually keep moving past the 8k rpm mark?

I wonder if they can print me one custom. I'd like one without the KM/H stuff on the speedo and with an 8k rpm redline.... heh.

yea, i'd prefer to have the rotor sign instead of it saying gsl-se in those gauges...

I also took my *spare* gauge cluster apart to try to increase the redline.. isn't gonna go past eight without some rigging.. having nine would be nice though.

I love my Autometer gauge, I freaked when I hit 10k doing donuts after work one night! Wet pavement makes for fast wheel spin.......

I'd just like to simplify the gauges a little. I also don't like the red-on-white look.

But! I know what you guys are saying about over-revving. I have a light flywheel and it is very easy to do, but the MSD 6AL direct fire I have actually *does* work to cut the ignition. I have it set at 7k (too low) but I think I'm going to get a 7.5K rpm one for my 12a. When I get the 13b in, I may go with the 8k rpm. 7 and 8k come with the MSD.

get a tach from an 83 rx7. i did that with mine and mine used to go to 85 mph now it goes to 140mph. will it actually go 140mph? i think not, but thats not the point. its plug and play, it calibrates itself too, so no work is needed. you dont need the whole cluster, just the tach. i learned that the hard way

Can't let you walk around like that,,,all confused,.. Lol the cool thing is that if one gets the white face over-lays and has an 82 with the 85 mph speed-o. is to get the odometer/speedometer only from an 83 guage cluster. get that, install it, hook up the speed-o cable and thats it nothing else , and it reads right ( correct mph )

MSD makes an adjustable limiter pill... It's a little box with a dial on it... I'm using one with my MSD 6AL.....

If you want them I will need the face plate that reads 240KM/h so I can make a new template to run the white gauges... email me...
