Found $150 Runner with oil leak...soulutions?
Nothing. Just to drive around. It's a beautiful car.
BTW it's going to get an SE suspension, brakes, and some polished second gen phone dial wheels if everything goes okay.
I'll have to take some pictures.

Please do, I'd like to see it.
Planning on the se suspension in my rod, the one you rode in. It's down to bare metal right now, need to get motivated to finish it, getting a s4 13b and a dell.
I've got the rear, and there is a whole se rotting in town if I can ever find out who owns it

Heheh, is that car still going? That thing was mighty quick considering what it's been through.
Why aren't there any SEs around here? I've never seen one within a hundred miles of where I live. I'm going to have to drive about 600 miles total Thursday to get my SE suspension. I made a very similiar trip last weekend to buy an actual SE, but it didn't end well. Long story.
I've got so much stuff going right now that I shouldn't be trying to get myself more work, but I'm not taking the summer off so I need something to keep me sane in this mess of senior level classes.
I've got to get the car aligned, straighten my steering wheel, and get some new bushings for my new sway bar. Then I've got a 2nd gen oil cooler coming... gotta get lines made for it. A black magic electric fan sitting in the hatch that I have to install. I'm going to clean up my MSD install some more and make a new wiring harness for it to share with the e-fan. Then I've got the SE suspension and an SE transmission that, God willing, I'll get Thursday. I'll get SS brake lines, new pads, and maybe new rotors and/or rebuilt calipers... we'll see what I need. I'll need some wheels... there's a guy selling a set of 2nd gen phone dial wheels pretty cheap... with any luck I can get those. Should keep me busy.
And the worst part is that I'll still have plenty of money left over. Maybe I'll get an AR-15 if the assault weapons ban sunsets!

I dropped the engine in another car and sold it, it was a fast 12a. The secret is daily flogging.
The gearing will be better with 12a trans i think, unless you are concerned about mileage.
600 miles to get parts that's insane, there's got to be a salvage yard closer that has a se.
I've got some dual lug 5 star ARE rims I might part with.
Do you really need an ar-15?

Sure, I need an AR-15. With a 30rnd mag, a telescoping stock, a grenade launcher, and a bayonette. Fer deer huntin'. I'd actually want to get one while they're still legal. Currently they're limited to 10 rnd magazines and NO BAYONETTES. What's the deal with that?
Actually, Bush will probably push for the ban to be renewed in a futile effort to win some support from the left. I wonder what that man is thinking sometimes.
I like taking long trips. I'm not sure why. It's no big deal and 600 miles is only about 8 hours of driving anyway. $45 in gas and $100 in clothes for my girlfriend will get me there and back with pleasant company the whole way, haha.
I'm actually looking forward to trying my hand at polishing wheels and I like the way the phone dials look so I'm not really shopping for wheels.

For the time it takes, it might be wise to put in new seal springs, no?

it also depends on how long you want it to run. i mean if you want it to run for 200,000miles, and make lots of power you're better off buying everything new....
