Flow specifications of stock 12a fuel pump

I already have a carter so thats not the issue. This may not be in exactly the most appropriate forum, but i know that most guys here know more about OUR stuff. Anyway...
What are the specs for our stock 12a fuel pump, i.e. GPH and PSI? The reason I ask is I have an 84 Toyota 4runner and I was thinking of blocking off the mechanical pump and running the 12a electric pump since I have a couple extra.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Craig

just throwing this out, the stock 12a pump was barely good enough for the job at hand... hell, sterling (i believe, correct me where wrong) advises to upgrade your FP if you get one of his carbs. I would hate to see what happens when a 1.1L engine's FP is put in your 4runner. Then again, what do i know?

Doing a search right now

nope, nothing came up.

My opinion is just get a new pump for the 4runner. no sense in risking it with the 12a pump.

Whats wrong with the Mech pump?

I have a 85 yoda truck, I use as a rock crawler and the stock pump works fine.

It runs the same 2.3L carbed engine, You might have to add a FPR in the line, becuase it may be to powerful for the 2 barrel carb.

thats what i was thinking. it works fine for what it was made for, but my yoder 22r is at the machine shop right now. so i was thinking for future fuel supply, as the original 2bbl might not always be thurrr.

Well, Id would wait until I get the new carb to worry about upgrading the fuel system.

Lets just say you want to run a 4 barrel holley on there later down the road the stock 12a pump isnt gonna supply enough for that. So its better to wait. Thats my honest opinion.
