flooded 85 GSL-SE

Hi, all
I need some help on my 85 GSL-SE .It has always ran super.I noted lately my MPG was slowly going down.how much I not sure.but to the point I went to start it 4 days ago and it will crank fine fire a few times but not start .being it was 5 degress out I thought the gas was froze.today 58 degress I tryed again and not start .I pulled the plugs and were gas soaked.put in new plugs and again soaked .Jumping ahead when I jump the fuel pump test wire by the air box I can hear the pump run and it does not stop .is it a bad injector or a bad fuel psi reg .It is also dumping tons of fuel out the tail pipes

thanks Deadcat

Would seem to indicate a stuck open injector or one that's just bleeding. that happened to my 7 also. got my injectors rebuilt.
wow 5* is pretty dang cold. good luck

I'm guessing I need a set of injectors. If I unhook the fuel pump ,dry the plugs, I can get it to kind of run on starting fluid .as soon as I hook up fuel pump floods out every thing

Leaking injector could be the culprit, whats the mileage? maybe its becoming time for the rebuild.

Sounds like your TPS is right on the threshold of being out of whack, like one eighth of a turn wrong. Mine is too.

I'm glad to see that witchhunter worked out for you, though. They've saved 3 of the 4 injectors I sent them, and they've got 4 coming in the mail right now.
