Floating Hub Kit

Hey,

Surfing th web I have just looked at Guru Motorsports (I use a number of products from them) and found a cool looking floating hub kit for Gen 1 RX7's. Thought somone may be interested.

I am going to have a look tomorrow (I live in Melbourne so it is easy). If anyone is interested in any info I can find out let me know.

Cheers, Twister

SH__ I just went and looked at this kit, what a piece of art! Anyone who wants safety and 'ease' of changing a diff, e,g, racers (like me) with this set-up it is great.

Here in OZ you can get the rear end (Gen 1 - Series 1-2) real cheap and easy but most racers never bothered because of the small axles, but with this set-up what a way to go.

I gotta have one of these units for mine.

How much are the setups running with shipping to the US? Do they have kits that change the 4x110mm bolt pattern?

Hi Price, I am not sure I will find out. They are selling it with the axle's or without (obviously each car may have slighly different length axle requirements etc).
The kit I looked at kept the 110mm bolt pattern (i.e. the early what we call in OZ Series 1-2).

Hi I had a chat with them, chewck out the web site for new shots, **** these things doa good job.

Approx cost from what I they said was about $1350 USD for both the floaters and the axels, I think they said $800 for the axels & $550 for the hubs.

They are designed especially for the 110pcd
