First Rotory Powered car in North America

I talked for an half hour with the owner of the first rotory powered Mazda in North America.

It was an R-100 Protor Type, he bought it from a guy purchased it at an Auto show in Detroit and Blew the Engin on the way through our town (less then a day old) The guy I spoke to bought it from him and kept it for years untill it was stolin and totaled via a tree.

The car actually had Mazda Rotory Protype on it.

Over the time he had it he had three motors for it, one of which they Periferal ported and got it to 14000 RPM.

He offered to Port My Engin.

No low end power, but look out @ 5000 RPM

Very cool to talk with this guy.

His company has done all the electronic (sterio, alarm) in my FB.

Very nice man, extreemly inteligent. Talked about having to order parts from Japan befor mazda was relly importing into north america.

Way cool, Just thought I would share this with every one
