its done by Custombodyworks at padstow, in the same complex as PAC. Danny also paints all the PAC cars.
But it has been taken back to bare metal, lead wiped, the full job. and painted by Danny himself! so for $10K its well worth it!
it will be a show winner with this paint job!
and of course, for its first outing after a complete resto, Wakefield park raceway for a few laps!

Yeah - I posted the $6500 USD amount earlier.
No, I don't just sit around and memorize exchange rates. I just grabbed the latest exchange rates and did a quick conversion. (OS X's built-in calculator has some nifty functions )

Yeah, that doesn't sound so bad...
For a bumper-to-bumper professional paint job on my car, the exact same colour, it's gonna be $4000 CDN. That's all exterior. Not inside the engine bay, or underside of the hood or the underneath of the car... Not on the inside under the carpet either. Just bumper to bumper, down to the metal as you see it.
$2800USD for that. So if you count the interior of the engine bay and whatnot (and if they charged for engine removal, taking off the side striping etc... ) then it *easily* falls in the 6gUSD category. I mean just think... They have to sand it, prime it, sand it again, put the metallic speckal gold underlay, sand it, base-coat it, sand it, clear coat, buff it, and charge you for it!
