replace all fluids, oil, coolant, trans oil, diff oil. you'll also want to replace or inspect the belts and coolant hoses. replace the air filter and fuel filter, inspect the cap, rotor, plugs, wires. check the coils for seepage, inspect the ignitors for bulging or corrosion on the back plates. inspect all brake linings, hoses, and wheel bearings, check your suspension bushings, tie rod ends, watts link bushings. you'll also want to check for any leaks on or around the engine, check the oil cooler for leaks at the bungs, replace your wiper blades, inspect your omp lines(if you arent pre mixing), and make sure you fix any electrical gremlins(if you have any) before you strand yourself.

thats just a grocery list of what to look for in a 20+ year old car. you definatly want to keep your car maintained, especially if you want to drive it daily.
