First car 1985 RX7?
First car 1985 RX7?
Thinking of buying 1985 RX7 as my first car, do you think it's a good idea? What's a good price nowadays for 1985 rx7? I will mostly drive in the city so how's the fuel consumption there? What are some thing I should know before I buy one? Tips tricks?
All depends on the condition and the millage....also depends if it's a GSL or a GSL-SE with the 13b fuel injected....that will drive the price up or down.
Gas consumption.......if you want to get in a rotary forget about saving gas..... specially driving in the city......

The body looks good and the interior also....it's not a GSLGSL-SE but for like $3800.00 USD......I'll buy it in a heart beat.....keep in mind that you will have to go thru the whole cooling, fuel and break systems to get it road worthy....
If you do get it ...good luck.....
did you post on reddit too ?
my first "toy" car was my '85 rx7, but it wasnt my ONLY* car. i had an 89 s10 blazer as my daily
Rx7's, especially fb's, are amazing but imo it should NOT be your only car. get a cheap 90's corolla or something else for $1500-2k that's reliable at least and then buy a FB. good luck!
