finishing my rx7 project

well i'm in houston now going to school, but i still have the rx7 back in jamaica with no engine. anyways i need your input guys on what i need to do to get the car to run a 14.1 1/4 mile. I had a 13b with a edelbrock 500cfm carby on it. i don't remeber if it's a 6 port or 4 port seeing it's kinda pieced up, ill try to get some pictures of the carb intake manifold to show guys so u can tell me if it's a 6 port or 4. another question.. if i get a 2nd gen n/a core engine and build on that would it be able to run 14s?? ANY input would help as in what parts/engine i would need etc

well if you get the 13b a nice holley 600, rb headers , electric fan bronze clutch , street port you can probably do mid 13s maybe a low 14 if your tires slip

ok i got a pic of the manifold that was on the old 13b, it looks like a 4 port to me, but it was in a sa22c rx7 so i wonder if it was an old school 13b from the 70s swaped in. can someone look at the pic and tell me if it could work on a newer 13b? the high res pic is below, thanks

Looks like a 12A manifold to me.. IF not it is for sure a 4 port, hence the 4 port openings.... But it looks like a 12A to me.
