finding springs that don't lower the car

Hey everyone. I have an 85 gs that I am trying to fix up a little. I just bought new shocks for it that I have not put on yet and I am trying to price some springs. I want something that is preferably a little stiffer than stock and the rb springs seem like a good deal but it has a 1 inch drop to them. I already have issues with the exhaust hitting the ground over big bumps as well as having some issues fitting my standard size jack under the vehicle near the front of the car. So the last thing I need is this car to sit any lower lol. Does anyone know of any stock size springs that are just a little stiffer that can be bought?

It's been a while since I have worked with suspension but MOOG use to have a progressive coil spring for almost any application . They would keep the car at curb height or a little higher and the way they worked for example was if you added say 200 lbs to the car .it would drop a centain distance ,lets say at 200 lbs it would go down 1 inch ,if you added another 200 lbs it would drop 1/2 inch more and so on .The coils were spaced different distances all the way down the spring . Just something you might be interested in . They actually did work I installed them on many different vehicles but never dealt with Mazda suspension . don't know if they even have an application for Mazda cars but wouldn't surprise me if they do ..

Sounds like your OE springs are saging. RB springs might raise it up. Also, what size tires are you using?

I don't think Moog has springs for this vehicle, at least I have not found any yet. I do have the stock tire size, I think 185/70/13? Been trying to find something thats maybe 15 or 16 inch but the rims that fit these cars are not very cheap so it will have to come in time.

Also if anyone is able to help, I am having issues getting to the back brake caliper bolt. What did you all use to get it off? I got the top one undone, but there is something on the bottom that's in the way stopping me from getting a socket on it.
