Too late! I followed MetalicRock's instructions in the FAQ where it says "cut all the wires and discard it". Well, I cut all the wires but I still have it rolling around in the bottom of my tool box (I never was good at following instructions to the letter)... Maybe there's enough wire left on it to still make use of it. I'll have to check it out, just in case..
