I suppose that's true...it just seems a bit troublesome...and very unreliable.

Yeah, not a daily driver. On top of that, J and moster port are a little bit different, Monster port is pretty big and involved filling in some of the water jackets. J port is not as big. However with both of them, part of the inner coolant seal has to be cut.

No.Thats bullshit.It all depends on how well the engine is built.It will never last 200k miles.We all know that,it was never meant to do so.

You have to sacrafice driveability,and fuel consumption,and how long it lasts for more HP.

If you want a engine that will last forever.Get a streetport,and with it the smooth idle and boring power curve.For the rest of us : Bridge ,Peripheral or Monster is fine.


My 2 cents supporting ported motors.

I know of a rx7 with a bridgeported motor thats been daily driven for about four years now and the thing hasn't shown any sign of dying anytime soon. Thats probably one of the biggest reasons that I'm also going with a bridgeport.
