Finally, a HAAPY post about my car
Ok, well after finding my junk yard with the great deals, Ive gotten my car damn close to being the way I want it for now. I just got my oil pressure sender, and thankfully, my oil PSI is fine, it was a flakey sender. 50 PSI at idle and 70 PSI at highway cruise. Im so happy. I know I shouldnt talk about this because something will go wrong, but Im just too happy
. So between the oil PSI sensor, the center console, the pocket, the clock and everything else, Im close to "done" for now. Although, I found a goodie at another junk yard (owned by the same company, so the same prices) today that I REALLY REALLY want...So I gotta save up a decent chunk of money...Lets just say Im going back for another oil cooler later today
.

It's good to see more posts here in the 1st Gen forum that don't follow the tradition of the following:
1. Apex seal blown
2. Crashed my RX-7 into a tree/rock/other car
3. Put a V8 in my RX-7
etc etc etc.
I guess when your car is older than you are (in my case anyways,) one must expect a certain number of car-deaths if you will. Lately, however, it seems like an inordinate number of SA/FB's are biting the dust. At any rate, good for you, it's good to see one more FB kept on the road.

Good to hear some good news, T.J.
My SA conked out last night while I was bringing my wife home from work. The damn fuel pickup tube has gotten plugged-up twice in the last couple weeks. I ended up crawling under the car in a Church parking lot with a flashlight, disconnecting the fuel inlet to the fuel pump and back-blowing the line to clear it. Got a bath in gas for my efforts, but at least I got 'er to run. So now I'm faced with dropping the tank and giving it a good cleaning out. That's what happens when these things sit for 10 years! Good luck to you. -Mike
