Finally got around to the SE swap...

i got the rear end in today.. i got a couple of questions though..

i have kyb gas-adjust shocks on the rear, haven't did the front swap yet.

For gear oil, i used 80w-90, no lsd additive yet.. is that really needed?

how much of the e-brake cable was i suppose to use? i just took the last part being held with a carter pin.. i'm not sure if it was gsl or gsl-se cable, because it had the se bolt pattern, but the ecu doesn't have the EGI stamp.. it's kinda tight on the right side.

took it for the initial drive... ran fine, i didn't step on it too hard.. took it high in the rpm's, but didn't wanna smoke the tires.. so i come back home.. adjust the e-brake so it'll stop on a hill... then head back out and i hear a rumble, just once, as i was decelerating. any clues as to what that might be?

update: holy crap. lsd is the bomb-diggity.. i had a problem with only making it to 100 on empty highway straightaways with the old differential... well i hit 115 tonight on the way to taking my friend home.. could've done more but i started coming up on a car in the lane beside me.. cautious driver. =D

I'll go grab some lsd additive tomorrow then, but for now i need to figure out why my brakes are so stiff... in the front, which still has the 13" (+) rims, i had a feeling my pedal was a little too stiff, so at the gas station i wiped off my front rim to see how much dust would accumulate... i have a fresh new coat now, and only went about 20 miles... never really thought about it before, but is this normal? then again it could be from me slowing down from 115.. enough rambling, time for sleep so i can drive some more tomorrow.

edit: one more question.. did the SE come with kyb gas adjust shocks? my front struts are also kyb, and have a little adjuster thing in the middle.. labeled 1,2,3,4.. curiousity killed the cat..
