final thoughts on the car i never had

well the rx7 i was going to buy wouldnt run (it had more problems than just that) but anyways it kinda ruined my week cause i dont have much money now and my cutlass still needs work before i can drive it in any weather other than above 60 degrees and no rain (it has no top, heater, paint or trunk floor because i havent had time to fix it yet.) my TWO winter beaters have died and of course all my money is in my new computer from dell.

i REALLY like rx7's but for the moment i cant really afford anything over 600$. this sounds strange but im probably going to start importing austin/rover/cooper minis from poland and selling them here in washington state so i guess my interests will drift elsewhere by neccecity.

this forum was helpful and im glad there is so much support for these cars. it is nothing compared to the people associated with GM musclecars(my specialty), a bunch of (OLD!) washed out and overweight has beens that wont admit a wrx can beat their gto in any conceivable motor sport. there are no forums either. i truly wish more people (my age, late teens/early 20's) would start getting in to muslecars (although most people that DO have them seem to just hold on to them regardless of wether or not they will EVER fix/drive them) and these people are kind of ruining the hobby by inflating asking prices due to ignorance. sorry im rambling...

this forum is cool but i probably wont be around much if i dont have an rx7

FB's are incredible, cheap cars!! Save and search, you will find a deal. Personally, muscle cars are not my thing. Its all about performance and nothing says it best like power to weight ratio!.. Doesn't matter how much HP you have if the other guy is lighter with the same. Anyway, don't give up and get an RX7!! If you think you want without even driving one. You will love the **** out of it when you buy one!!

^^ what he said

I picked mine up for $300 and had it on the road before my total had reached $400.

Don't give up yet man :-)

Importing minis sound like fun!

Sometimes not running can still be a very simple fix!

Well like the guys said, sorry to see you give up on it, but understandable. Hope you stick around though. Good luck with your other plans.

There's another car that I really want. If I ever stumble across a Mini for sale, I'd pick one up.
