Fiberglass hoods w/ stock mounting

I've seen several threadsin the last couple months about people making fiberglass and carbon fiber hoods that will use the stock mounting hardware so when I stumbled across this I thought I'ld post it here in case anyone might be interested in it.

the craftmanship looks real good. the bracing is the exact same way i have done
(around the edges) in that link it shows 2 prices $229.00 for a rx7 turbo hood
and $269.00 for a hood w/scoop cutout. i'm confused (it could happen) but very well done. **** !! and the prices are hard to beat. hey manntis what do ya think ?
pretty good huh...? i'm not too hip on that widebody though, but hey hats off.

Hey I posted this link a few days ago! I spoke to the guy about the hoods. The 229 is for the non-functional scoop, ie, no cut-out for air. The 269 is for the one with the cut-out. I asked the guy if he could make that smae style with a CF skin, he said no. yeah it seems like a good deal to me.

I saw that hood a while back as well.....Great prices and looks great. I like the fact he has the option of cutting it out for you too. Others have told me to do it myself. Although, I am still digging Manntis' style a little more.
