This one BY FAR, is the Most beautiful Hood on an FD. I would love to have something similar for the FB's,
maybe with the scoop in the header panel, and vents on the hood?

oh yeah, scoot hoods are cheap to reproduce, lol. damn that car is pretty.

zyounker- that was actually my inspiration for my vent. i just didn't have the skills or tools to get the flares and a nice double cut, so i stuck to a single easily cut vent placed just far enough behind the radiator to release hot air and still clear the alternator.

this front valance piece looks great. The hood is also pretty good also.

I am sure this is a one off though.

The mazdaspeed or this hood is perfect, kind of a reverse vent.

The red & black car has a knightsport hood. not mazdaspeed.. although very similar..

my post reads masdaspeed OR this hood.

I reread it and I can see the confusion,

I would like a scoop like that in the hood.

I personally think the scoot hood is ugly as sin.. Looks like gills from some sort of sea creature

I agree.. The Mazdaspeed hood with the two reverse vents looks alright. That shark gill looking thing has to go! That would look hideous on a 1st gen...

FWIW: I beleive the rotary extreme hood was developed for the car that they but the MKIV SUpra TT motor in to get enough clearance on top. Form follows function, but it's still ugly.

just make the front scoop of the Scoot hood part of the header panel, then have a hood with the gills or a hood with the Mazdaspeed style vent (reverse vent? it's facing the right way! reverse scoop maybe) to go on after, depending on personal tastes

They don't have those kind of gills.
See for yourself.

Those are some awsome hoods!!! I just wanted to tell everyone that my hoods will not be that nice. I would have to sell these for the prices that they are charging...$600-$800. I dont think most 1st gen owners are willing to spend that on their cars....I know I am not. Besides, I dont want my hood to be worth more than my car...hehe

I just want to provide a decent part for a decent price. My parts will fit nice and serve thier purpose for being built.

Oh yah, Direct,

I am working on a header panel like that...I like that!!!
