Fianlly done with the TII swap

I finally got done with my TII swap. It's been a long 8 months or so but was worth it. I've spent around 8k on this swap and going to spend more on a 8.8 rear conversion in a month or two.. Tell me what you guys think..

Better hand over those keys in my next Vegas trip. Then I will tell you if you did a good job or not.

Say, are you going to mold over the rear bumper or something? The front kinda puts me in mind of the older Rally cars. Looks good. I think I would have to get used to the trunk conversion though. My brother-in-law had a Vette with a simaler rear, and it didn't look bad, but just weird. Different strokes! Still pretty bad a$$!!!

I listed almost eveything above. Keeping the interior pics to myself right now.. have something planned and don't want to spoil anything.. Going to tune it at 400 RWHP on pump gas.. Might try some C16 also..

hahahaha, I skipped over that and went directly to your pictures after reading your first post.

Nice. Definately one of the fastest SA22c's in the middle of nowhere.

Awesome setup, looks like exactly what I am going to do with my car within the next little while. (I would like to get it all together for next summer) Looks like I found someone else I can pester with all my questions haha.

Did you have any big complications or huge delays in the project that you weren't expecting? If so i'd like to hear about them so I can be prepared and hopefully the unexpected won't mess my project up!

Looking awesome!!! Thanks for the inspiration!

Outstanding job!!!

One question, safety issue, in the last pic, is the red thing a fuel filter or pump? Either way, I would find some way to raise it, or move it for more protection.

I like the old school rally front end. Not sure about the tail lights, but with the Mariah hatch, the actually look good.

Keep up the good work and post those dyno #s when you get it tuned. I'm jealous.

I would suggest you start buying the parts as soon as you can. The cost will add up real fast.. No real issues except trying to learn the haltech

Thanks for the advice. Where did you buy most of your parts from? Did you buy them new from different sources on the internet or locally? What intercooler are you using?

What about for your fuel system what are you running? Also from what you have experienced with the haltech so far would you recommend it, im kinda thinking about going with a microtech...

Also I see you went with the "conventional" method of mounting your intercooler. I have been told by many people that I should be running a V-mount setup, is there a reason you did your this way? What turbo manifold are you using?

I bought all my parts new except for the engine parts.. I had some of the engine parts but bought housings and rotors.. My fuel system is -8 feed and -6 return from tank to eng bay. All SS braided. KG parts custom fuel rails with a aeromotive FPR. I have a splitter in the bay and feed both rails at the same time and return to the FPR then back to the tank. 720/1600 on the injectors.. Intercooler is a ebay one.. 24X12X3 with 3" inlet/outlets.. Radiator is from summit racing but might have to get a bigger one.. The manifold was purchaced from Australia (RHD car)..
