Yeah, it is a modified turbo with a T04b compressor, but from my understanding, the turbo has not been ported. That will be my first order of business. Anyone have a place they recommend?

Thanks!

By the way, my power goals are between 240 and 300 horses. Anything to keep up with that damn SC lotus so that he does not continue to pass me like I'm sitting still on the straights along with those damn Miatas. It is a crying shame when a Miata can pass an RX-7--on the straights.

Oh yeah, I was on Summit Racing tonight and I bought an inline fuel pump, a electric fan and adjustable controller, a boost gauge, and a windband 02 sensor and gauge. Damn, this crap adds up fast. Will keep you updated on my project. I'm not going for anything big and crazy and I do not want my car undriveable for more than a couple of months. Trying to decide if I should finish this race season and at least get a couple more races in this year or if I should go ahead and pull...

I purchased the same pump through Summit Racing. It is almost the same size as the stock one so it should fit in the stock location. I do have a few questions:

The fuel line coming from the tank is huge and does not look like it will fit on the standard fitting. How did you get around this or what size adapter did you use?

I'm assuming you mounted your fuel pump in the standard location and removed the old one. Did you use the stock wiring or did you run your own relay? Will the stock wiring work?

I tried to order the universal install kit from the site you mentioned, but when I click on the paypal button, it displays an error message. How did you order?

Thanks!

You will need to do your own wiring for the fuel pump. Two reasons. One the stock wiring on the S3s has a fuel cut relay. Those things WILL cause you problems. Two, I wouldn't trust 25+ year old wiring to a new high voltage demand fuel pump. Just my opinion. I did my own wiring on my fuel pump in my turbo FB.

Well, I am going to be running a Microtech, so I do not think that the fuel cut relay comes into play. However, I will run my own relay as you are right, we should not trust the old wiring. Thanks!
