A few questions

So I'm putting on the Holley 450, not 465 like in my sig....

And am wondering where the brake booster line would go on the new carb or whatever.

Also, I am wondering what the torque setting and sequence would be for the stock intake manifold. Car is an '84 GS..

I am wondering if the air pump belt drives anything else on the pulleys or not, since I took off the air pump.

And lastly, any other people have any tips on how to set it up right??

Thanks,

not really necessary to torque the intake.
brake booster connects to the intake not the carb. the RB holley intake has a barb for this.
the air pump belt went around the w/p too.
unless ur running premix, u'll need to fab up the omp linkage. should have no problem duplicating the one u have on the 465.

Yeah, I'm doing pre-mix now. So I guess I need to either put the air pump back on to accomodate the belt or get a shortie one. The tube is that similar size thing on the manifold toward the firewall, eh? I may need a fuel pump too for the holley. And I have a 450 not 465, mine's two barrel

i believe that shortie belt ur referring to is what's known as the "yahoo belt". use that term when searching for threads for it. some have found a belt that is just small enough to work it around the main and w/p pulleys for extra belt contact for the w/p when the air pump is removed. u may even find a thread that gives part number or belt size.

Yeah I'm prolly gonna just put the air pump back on and use the old belt. I have to fix the throttle linkage on the carb and put in the holley fuel pump/reg I just got first. Plus, there is no tensioner if it just runs around the two pulleys so there's that part too...

My car better be fast after all this time I've put into this build..

I've always gotten by just fine with only one belt for the alt and water pump.
