any one ever do this? i have a couple space fc gas tanks around and dont feel like finding an fb one.

imo, this will not work. the FB and FC tanks are shaped completely different, not to mention the filler neck is on the right side for the FC tank..the FC tank is too tall and would be a nightmare to make work. get yourself a good tank from the correct year FB and forget the idea of installing an FC tank.
