My 84 Seat rails are pretty knackard/rust o plenty) Does anybody know if the Fb and Fc seat rails are interchangeable?

Are NA miata seat rails compatible for that matter?

 

I have made my FB seat rails work with a Sparco steel seat in the past (still have those if interested in pics). Next time I have my NA miata seat out of the car I'll try and remember to take pictures of the rails. If memory serves, they were not all that different. Although, anything can be made to work with patience and some welding skills.

 

NA Miata seat brackets are not compatible. I originally had NA seats in my SA before I got the 10AE seats.

 

FC seats will absolutely fit, the passenger seat will bolt right up and for the driver seat, just switch the transmission tunnel side rail off your fb seat onto the fc seat. I did the swap in my 85 a few weeks ago with some spare red 86 sport seats and they fit like a charm

 

I recently saw a first gen with RX-8 seats in it. Anyone know what it takes to put those in?

I would imagine it is just swapping rails
