FB Turbo II guys, which Rad hoses

Hi, building my turbo FB, It has a S5 TII motor and water pump, and a FB radiator.

this is what the top hose looks like, the bottom one is just straight for the most part iirc.

would these atkins silicon hoses for a 12a work with the 13bt water pump ?

I called Atkins just now.

the bottom silicon hose will fit without modification

the top silicon hose for the FB will be to short in length to reach the Tii water pump, and the Tii will be too long and requires shortening (cutting)

Save your money and get rubber hoses. I know guys making 400-500 +hp with stock rubber hoses. Nothing wrong with them... Maybe find a universal one that looks similar to fit or just get TII and cut it. Cutting is easy..

Looks like the short 3 row radiator from your pic?? 79-82 lower just to be safe.

Clean engine bay!!

I'm using FB hoses both upper and lower on mine and they work fine. I think I had to do a bit of trimming on the upper and that was about it....

Can't wait to get up there and make your acquaintance in person tonight. I'll bring the Illuminas with me as well.

Army, you have no idea, I have been so excited, I have needed to restrain from calling you every five mins asking "can you come out today?"
T/A, thanks for the input, I decided the silicon would look cool, but was too pricey
twinkietoes, if you like that engine bay wait a week or two for some current pics
