BC FB/SA Headlight mods

I saw some great pics of FBs and SAs with headlight mods recently. There's a "sleepy eye" mod with aftermarket projectors and a clear lens cover installation that also looked pretty good.
Has anyone on the forum done either of these mods to their ride or knows the details about them?

Not to thread jack similar question.
Some reason mine get stuck half way up with my led headlights it looks pretty good for day time running lights anyway to do that and still have full up position?

"Sleepy eye" is the stock headlamps halfway up as described by Kaaarl12a. I think if you unplug the retractors and manually turn them to that position they will stay there. There is away wire them to turn to that position electrically but I don't think it's quick or easy.

Low profile headlamps are what you're looking for. There are a few threads on the subject and at one time there was a kit available for Miatas that could be modded to fit a 7. It was around $400+ and took some work to make it fit. I think a couple people have tried to make their own and may or may not have succeeded. I think we all got tired of talking about it.
Search for low profile headlights and something should come up.

The headlights are one of the things that gives these cars their personality. I have always liked the hide aways. Just get some Hella glass enclosures and some brighter HID type bulbs.
