fb model identification?

i want to know what ways there are to tell whate type of fb i have? (LE,S,GS, or GSL) i know its not a gsl le but there are no marking anywhere on the car and the part of the FAQ page that would have helped me is no longer working

from FAQ page: links dont work
Q. What's the difference between an LE, S, GS, GSL, and a GSL-SE?
A. Check out the First Generation '78-'85 page. Here's another page
that describes the 1st, 2nd and 3rd generations in detail.

thanks

if the one u have has disc rear, but 12a, it's a gsl. there's a previous thread somewhere that asked the same question and someone posted the different options for the different models.

ok found it: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...identification

this works 81-85

GSL; rear wiper, rear disc brakes, power windows, a/c, cruise control, am/fm/tape w eq, sunroof, alloy wheels, seats with a separate headrest. leather is optional. 84-85 ps is optional

GS; drum rear, power mirrors, key/map/cargo lights. usually has sunroof, ac and cruise. manual windows. 81-83 have seats with a built in headrest

S; manual windows, no sunroof, no cargo/map/key lights, the only model with MANUAL MIRRORS.
