FB, to FC, and right back to FB!!!

anyone here decide to go to the dark side and buy an FC, only to realise that they are not what you expected, and then get another FB? I did.

i owned 2 TII's before my FB... sadly i've only gotten to drive my FB once... i like the looks of FC's much better than FB's, but i like the handling, and nimbleness of a FB better, hence why when i couldn't afford my TII anymore i sold it and am now working on the FB

I bought one as a parts car for my Turbo project. The interior is pretty nice but the stock exterior is butt ugly (sorry second gener's) compared to an FB. I must admit though, if you put a widebody, vented hood, decent spoiler, and front end kit, the FC could look OK.

They are too far removed from the feel of the road. Plus they look like they're the unGodly spawn of a bleedin' Ford Probe that got raped by a Porsche 944.

i like the looks of the TII's... the hood scoop is nice and aggressive looking, the spoiler is killer, love the mirrors too, S4 or S5, doesn't matter i think they look great... i don't much like the look of NA FC's.... without the hood scoop they just look kind of wussy to me... i love the interior on them... FB's just look like tweaked out nissan's to me...

How often have i had a tweeker come up to me and tell me "I love those cars! Its a Z car right?" Damn stupid crack heads. I had a buddy who was driving an 86 at an auto cross back when i was driving my 81. He kept trying to figure out why I was beating him. Then we swapped cars for some time only's. I couldnt figure out why he thought he would ever be able to keep up. The fc's are more practical and all. Ant the TII's can be made to make awesome power but unless you're going to do some (too expensive for me) suspension work they just dont have the handling. Its really a joke how badly they under steer.

Translation: It COULD look OKAY if you change the whole ******* exterior of the thing.

ahh i went to the dark side and sort of back! lol

i first bought an 83 gsl its a great car handles amazing, but doesnt have alot of power,i still have it my dad drives it now tho, but then i wanted something more modern looking so i bought an fc, i can tell it doesnt corner as well as the fb but it has more power looks more modern and seems to fit me better, im 18 so its looks attracting to me , i still dont get why all these teenagers want a honda? what r they thinking. well since my dad drives my 83 he found a low milage 79 and bought that, i drive that around half the time still cause i like the way it handles, so ive been to both sides, i just need to get threw college and get an FD!!!

but id never sell or neglect any of them cause they all r amazing machines and have things i like about them.

someone recently posted a FB head to head witha 280Z, the likeness was scary... the basic contour of the body from front to back from a side view, its almost hard to tell the difference. the biggest difference of the 280z is its headlights... otherwise, imo they are fairly similar, looks wise...
