FB Factory Wheel question....

I have an 85 S. It has the chinsey little steel wheels. When I bought the thing one of the wheels was bent. So I went to my local junk yard and suprisingly enough he said he could get me one. He said there is 2 kinds of steel wheel - a plain and a styled, one was black and one was silver...... Honestly, I thought there was only one style of steel wheels made for 1st gen.'s, and those are even rare. So I call mazda and sure enough there are 2 styles of steel wheels. They are discontinued and the parts guy didn't tell me much but that one of them was black and the other silver...... but the notes didn't specify wheather it was plain or styled.

So I did a search with google and found this picture

My wheels look just like that but without the chrome beauty ring....... Any thoughts of what "kind" I have?

Also, when the guy calls me back I will ask if the color(black or silver) specifies black or silver. He didn't say when I first talked to him.

P.S. The wheels will be upgraded eventually, but I am focusing on main "swap" parts right now.

Thanks guys

Those would be strong and light, good for road racing, autocrossing etc.

I actually like those better than the cast + style ones. Too bad they are so narrow. A 6.5" wide version of that rim would be awsome.

Sweet.....that looks like the non-styled. Cool, thanks guys. Honestly, I don't think they look too bad. I plan to give them a silver coat of paint for now, until I go with some Panasports.
