fast idle rod, turbo question

fast idle rod, turbo question

Is it possible, for you guys that use turbo'd nikki's, to keep the fast idle rod hooked up? I dont see why it wouldnt be, but im just wondering.

Yes. Leave it connected. The Motor wont want to wake up without it. Ditching the Choke flap is okay, but definitely need the fast idle.

thank you! i also have another question, not having anything to do with the first question. My tack is f'd up, it works linear-ly but when the engine is warmed up and purring like a kitten, the tack is at 0 then when given gas moves up from there, any ideas?

Time for a new one. Capacitor or something has likely gone out that runs the calibration.

Stock tack I assume?

yep, stock tach. i guess ill have to throw my other one in.. couldn't it just be re calibrated?
