I took the car into a local imports shop and became friends with the owner (his name is mark), he had a neon blitz bumper laying around and took it to someone that just started a fiberglassing business, the guy there took the bumper from the neon and made a mold of it and made a mold of my oem bumper and put them both together for the final bumper. I went back to get the bumper and it was terrible, rough edges, news paper stuck in there and bondo. I just tell the guy "i'll take it how it is" and paid $300 for it. We get out of there and mark says to me "i'm glad you got your bumper out of there, i'll finish it up for you and hang it" the origional agreement was $300 total and that's what i paid, he had to grind it out and completely reglass it and finish it, then hang it and mold it in, all for free, he worked day and night to get it finished for me, i'd stop by sometimes at midnight to help and he'd still be there working. He specializes in hondas, so if you've got a honda that you need parts for i highly recommend you go to his site www.honndahawke.com he's a very honest and trust worthy business man.

ok so im stupid.
1) The bumper is for a neon but its only a mold that is molded to a mold of your bumper?
2) What year neon?
3) If I find a aftermarket rice neon bumper that i like, could i technically trim it to fit my existing bumper or do i have to remove my bumper and mounth the neon aftermarket one to my body?
Sorry im slow today
PS i use the term rice in a good way not a bad insulting way

The neon bumper had a mold taken from the bottom half of the bumper, then my oem bumper was molded and put ontop of the mold of the lower half of the neon bumper... it was a very complicated process, the bumper had to also have some of it's measurements adjusted so it would fit on there, and it's still too wide for the car, but perfect in the sense that i want a widebody.

how did you do the front quarter/fender panels?
Not to do with the bumper but upon replacing it (the origional with the new one) the lines would have been off and the front panels would have haad to be replaced.

Molded the stock ones in for now, i plan on getting some type of fender flares that will go more with the kit, the bumper is far too wide and bulky for the stock body width
