failure, and a muffler shop

ok so me and some buds buy some liquid wrench and spray away at all the bolts sticking the ugly stock muffler to my seven. we still cant get any progress so we drive it down to pep boys to see if we can tip a guy to take it off, but then even an air gun wont tear out the rusted bolts. Im going to call some shops today to look at a price range for some cutting and probably some welding. I really hate to do this cause i wanted to do it on my own but i dont have the right heavy duty stuff to work with. Maybe ill give one more try at wrenching, if i could see pics of what some of you guys have done to install your aftermarket mufflers when the old one wasnt moving that would be great. Hey, do you think i could just take a hack saw or something and just cut right down the old gasket and just buy some new bolts. later god bless

Some people swear by this:



I used something else, dunno what it's called. heh Just figured it'd work.

Just cut the bolts and that worked for me.

I used the grinding wheel on a dremel tool. Actually about four grinding wheels.
