Failing Idle

when I let off the gas to let my car come to an idel while Iam braking for a speed bump, the idle will fall down to around 100-400 and if I dont simaltainiusly gun it, it will sputter out... Thank you alan for helping me get my car runnin!! does anyone know what might be causeing this? maybe my idle screw wiggled out a littlebit?

Thanks in advanced, and Thanks again Kettleman!!

haha! yo kettlman I sat it at home for a good half an hour, went over to autozone and hung out inside there for like 45 minutes came out started her up drove home and when i slowed to let some lady and her kid cross then slower for the speed bump it wanted to die so I put it in neutral and wated for them to cross... kept a foot on the pedal... droped it in drive and jumped the bump and cruized into my spot quicker than I should have... let it rest for another 2 and a half hours and took off to the gym.. she started up like a f%$kin champ, thxs to you! after she warmed up I didnt have a problem... went down into lacey on some back roads and enjoyed her perfect ballance. jogged for a good 2.5 miles at the gym and headed home, my bro and I were pacing each-other on college at about 20 mph then we jammed it up to 60 and as soon as we came back to the limmit we drove past a cop and we were pacin each other again at this point and the cop was outa that parking lot and on us like a fly on **** he road our asses all the way down college and practily into our appartment complex!!! LOL!!! to summerize a radar detector saved our *** and the car, i beleive just wasnt warm yet on my journey back from autozone when she wanted to die out on me.

When you press the brakes, the brake booster is using manifold vacuum to give you power brakes.
Sounds like there may be a leak.
Does the idle go down if you're just sitting in the parking lot and depress the brake pedal?
