i was right!!! it was the "random cut wire" which was blue with a yellow stripe meaning the constant "backup power". i bought another factory premium sound system and it was just my luck that i got the missing plug i needed. well i had my dad solder 2 (one blue one yellow) heavy duty gauge wires and clamped them onto the plug and solder the two wires together and the solder to the spliced wire. plugged everything in and it has been great! another plus to my restoration project!! pics and a video below!!

thanks for everyones help. without the use of this forum with so many great and helpful people my restoration project is going very smooth. next is to get it smogged and legit. i cant wait!!!
