Niiice! Did you pull it apart to paint it or did you just tape it off?

Im assuming you are talking about the engine...the whole engine was pulled apart, cleaned maticulously, ported, cleaned again, painted, then rebuilt

do you have any tips for someone wanting to do the same thing you did? What did you clean the motor with?

Do i ever! First i used water and a wire brush to get rid of the big chunks of grease and such off. Then i let everything soak in solvent (carb cleaner) for about 2 days. Then i scrubbed with Purple Power and a wire brush again. VIOLA!

*NOTE* this takes a ton of time and patience and small cuts (yes..they hurt..but it was so worth it)

Also..as far as porting the engine goes...its really not as hard as it seems...just do your research...draw out the ports...lay down some duct tape...and CAREFULLY start up the varible speed dremel with a carbide bit.

PM me if you have some specific questions....i have lots of pics of all sorts.

You can port with a DREMEL? I thought you needed higher grade cutting tools!

ooooh...took me about 4-5 hours to port everything...it is very time consuming and maticulous work...you have to have lots of patience and not try to hurry...cuz you're f'd if you mess up.

So you're not selling it to me? I feel so dumped you broke my heart! Shipping would've killed me anyway, lol! Have fun man! I can't wait to hear how this turns out when it is all complete and you're blowing by the non-existant highway patroll.
