Extremely rough mockup of my spoiler and airdam idea...
Well, it's not raining right this minute, so here ya go. I'm trying to do something that follows the lines of the car, looks nice and clean, and also ties in front and back. Again, this is in 1/2 inch MDF, and is only a rough mock-up. I'm going to go get some clay and actually sculpt it on the car to do the final shaping. Some of the angles make it look huge, but it's only 5 inches wide at it's widest. Then the camera died (it goes through batteries like a hooker goes through condoms), so I need to go down and get some more of the front spoiler. This is just me holding it to get an idea of the shape and the flow.

Looks interesting so far. I think if you take the ends that wrap around the edges and follow the body line, it might look better, but I LIKE the size!
Dressed in glass with a little shaping (thicker base to a thinner tip) it will look REALLY great. How far away are you from having a proto-type? What are you using in the photo's as a base?

Yep, that's the plan.
Depends on how much time I have to dedicate to it this weekend. I have so many other projects going on.
My left hand LOL

Wow - on the cheap! I'll take 5 sets of each and hold them until they are *rare* pieces and sell them off FTW. Lol. If you need help on anything, I'm willing. I've been into glasswork for a few years now. If you want to send me a mold so I can pump some out for you, that's cool.

I have decided that I hate you.
You get way too much time to work on the car. If I get 10 min a week, I am lucky.
On the other hand though, that looks good.
btw, when did hookers start using condoms?

What will the final product be made out of? Using MDF for that too?

If you're making something similar to old Z-Cars front air dam, you can probably count me in for one.
Here's a pic I shamelessly stole to show what I'm referring to:
BTW, that's a TwinTurboed V8 out of an Infiniti Q45 stuffed in there.

make a spoiler with flaps and i'll definately buy one (even if you can only cut the spoiler in two with an 1" radius and leave me to my own devices on making it articulate) hehe
ok, so you know those r/c airplanes with flaps at the trailing edges of the wings? i think they're the 4 channel or 5 channel ones... cause my l'il old trainer plane didn't have em
why not do the same with your spoiler.
edit: you would need either an external linkage or a strong internal link
